I was more than happy when I received this rework of Metric’s “Artificial Nocturne” from Montreal based duo, Love Thy Brother. I have to admit, since Liam Clarke, one half of the group, started to work on this new project called Ain’t No Love, I wasn’t so optimistic about seeing a fresh new release from LTB anytime soon. Once again, their fan base will most likely be mind-blown by this powerful track.

Inspired by the arena rock vibe of Metric and a lot of the old school remixes by guys like MSTRKFT we created a Rock N roll dub step remix with some tropical flair and lots of orchestration.
Inline with the subject material synthetica we try and tow the line between a more vintage analogue sound with real sounding orchestration with a more digital sounding synth lead and touches. Its all been created on a laptop though so maybe we’re the exact representation of the synthetic permeation Metric is scared of… You be the judge!
