For those of you who are not yet familiar with hip-hop producer Apollo Brown; here’s your chance. The guy is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and produces some of the cleanest beats I’ve heard in a while. He usually goes for some hard knocking drums and soul/funk samples. This might sound like your typical hip-hop producer cliche but dude has his own style & vibe going on.
Also, funny fact for all of the music geeks out there, he still uses the 1996 Cool Edit Pro software to concoct his beats. Old school for the win. A living proof that top of the line material doesn’t necessarily make you a musician!
