I figured you guys need more Jackie Chain. Quite honestly, it had been some time since I had heard anything from him. His hyphy hit “Rollin” was probably the last and pretty much the only song still getting played out. Needless to say when a friend of mine told me he was on a new(ish) song with Bun B, I was stoked!

I was lucky enough to be looking for a decent download of the song a week after he dropped a mixtape with Nick Catchdubs. I strongly suggest grabbing the whole thing via Fool’s Gold, but I’ll still share my 2 favorite tracks for the fuck of it.

Hear ye hear ye! I’m back from nowhere, still doing nothing, but at least dropping some ruuuude songs fools. Enjoy your damn weekend!
I have a few more goodies from Club Cheval members to share with you on this rainy Saturday. We got a hard banging Canblaster remix of Hard Sax. This is the first release for All Naked Records and we wish them luck for the future. I do enjoy this comparison, so think of this song as the DP version of Drop the Lime’s “Sex Sax”. The other song was released by No Brainer Records and since their first release, Moston & Malente’s “Oh My God”, have been gaining more and more of my respect.

Ok Brig is about to post something about new LOL Boys. Trust me it’s very very suave. Which got me thinking of this remix they did of Crystal Fighters’ “Follow”. Good vibes as per usual, makes me happy and longing the sun and the beach and the water and following the pretty girls.
And now, TROLLS ON ACID

Good Day everyone. I am the new kid on the block, don’t worry it’s not Donnie Wahlberg, I don’t think this guy is not too strapped for cash yet. I won’t introduce myself because it’s a waste of time. Let just say a little birdie told me to fill in his spot while he tries to find enlightenment or some mumbo jumbo shit. Anyways let’s get to it then.

This song reminds me of the better days when getting high and getting down was on my mind 24/7. But as we all grow up classics like these never die off. Now if you don’t know Devin the Dude then stop reading this shit and start fucking downloading everything off this guy. Considered mostly as an underground rapper, (fuck the mainstream shit anyways) he got recognized by his unique flow over some sweet baby jesus beats. Now this beat stems from back when he was in the group called Odd Squad under the Rap-A-Lot records. The squad is made out of Devin with his stanky weed lyrics and flow, another rapper called Jugg Mugg and some crazy ass blind producer/rapper named Rob Quest. This song is perfect when kicking back and enjoying some good herbs because biiiiiiiiiiiitch what are you smoking?

As it’s fucking nice, warm and sunny I just had to post this shit. Cee-Roo is some sick producer out of Switzerland, who does a good job remixing old classics varying from Hip hop, Jazz and Soul. Definitely check this guy out on his Soundcloud or Myspace. He is on his 5th mixtape and his shit is getting on point. Everyone can find something to like in there. Heck if you can pull off remixing some Beatles especially a classic like “A Day In The Life,” then in my book you got something good going on so keep on doing it.

As you may have known, AtV transcends from a bunch of party animals and treesmokers so, this next one is straight in line with this way of life. Zeds Dead, who’s talent was introduced to me by Avenge the Virgins own MDMawesome, are making some fucking hard dubstep. If you don’t know who they are, but are looking to explode your sub in your car then this shit has to be on the top of your list. Bad to the bone baselines and some good old classic samples from known artist like Sublime and the Rolling Stones. It’s really hard not to give it a try. Newcomers to the whole dubstep might like the easier Blue Foundation melody, but let me tell you this; it keeps getting more progressive and harder from there on out.

To finish off, since you don’t know me and I can do whatever I want. I’m taking this straight out of the Snatch soundtrack and dumping it on to your ears. If you’re feeling Spanish tonight then this will get you playing the maracas faster than you can say: “Puedo acer un trompetillas con tus boobes.”
Before I go, good song, crazy Nintendo course with people flipping and shit. Maaaaaaaaan get out there and do something.
Time to pass it back to the real music savants. I am out of here yall.
Not too sure why I still hate Mondays, I practically have nothing to attend to except a half-retarded roman empire class. Nevertheless, I must’ve grown accustomed to despising Monday’s which could explain why I’m still in bed.
Let’s start this one off with some new DJ Sega material. He recently decided to switch the game up and started his DJ Sega Sixer Series. As he puts it :
“Fuck puttin out a mixtape…if everybody’s doin it, i wanna be different!!!!
Plus I just did one already…RYEot PowRR comin to you really soon!!!!
I’m presenting to you with my 6-pack mini-mixtape collection!!!!”
I don’t really have a choice to keep following the Sixer Series… Sadly, a six-pack simply doesn’t suffice anymore. Oh and these are some quality songs! Riot Music & Miami to Atlanta to Philly are some serious heat and I’d be stoked to hear Brenmar get on that Beyonce song the same way Sega does. Here’s the tracklist for those interested and his remix of Runaway!
1.) riot music – (donaeo + skream x dj sega remix)
2.) mia to atl to phl – (pryda x dj sega remix)
3.) music sounds better with you – (stardust x dj sega remix)
4.) why don’t you love me – (beyonce x dj sega remix)

5.) runaway – (kanye west x dj sega remix)
6.) u don’t like me – (diplo + lil jon x dj sega remix)
*(free sample bottle of the first track on the next 6-pack!!!!)
7.) rock dem hornz sega – (dj sega)
On a different note, Brenmar murdered it Blue Dog last Friday for Boomclap. Putting on one of the hottest, dirtiest, most grind-worthy set I’ve experienced in a goddamn while. For those in Montreal, this is undoubtedly the naughtiest weekly event going on in our city right now. Big ups to Markus G. & Sinjin Hawke on providing steady heat each week & N.B.G. for throwing this wild party.

To wrap this one up nice n’ tight, check out Toddla T’s Moombahton mix for BBC Radio1. With a guest mix by the creator of the movement, Dave Nada. Full of awesomeness to satisfy your musical needs.
By now you’ve most likely seen the name “Club Cheval” on the blog a few times. As previously mentioned, we were expecting 2011 to be a tremendous year for this continental tornado of fatness.
Myd & Sam Tiba
These two artists from France have been putting out some solid material in the past. Some of their dopest tunes have already been brought up on the blog so go grab them here or here!
His most recent release on Sound Pellegrino, “Kegstand“, is absolutely phenomenal. Seriously grab the whole thing, both originals and their respective remixes are killer, but what amazed me the most in the EP is “Horreo”! The whole Club Cheval crew hop on this track and murder it. Think of some hip-hop song where you have the artists spitting some crazy verses one after another. Now try to envision this concept on an electro song. I’m not even sure what I’m saying anymore so just listen for yourself!

Wild-card time! A week ago I mentioned Monsieur Monsieur was finally releasing some new material, well without further ado here is the massive remix by Canblaster. Oh and as always show some love and purchase the EP here!

If you think you’re capable of handling more stuff, you’re in luck my friends.
Canblaster’s mix for XLR8R is insane, how can anyone is their right mind fit more than 50 songs in an hour long mix. On top of that, a ton of the songs are unreleased… So yeah…. Grab it here!
Sam Tiba has also done some retarded work on Sound Pellegrino’s Podcast. Once again there’s a Godly amount of unreleased music I want (the Myd remix of Swick’s Be Stupid anyone?) Be smart, don’t be a retard and suscribe to the Podcast!
As for some material that has been released, Top Billin dropped some Club Cheval remixes today. There’s a few gems in this release so BUY BUY BUY!
Woah this was exhausting… Providing music for the masses.
BeatauCue dropped his “Disque Oh!” EP on Kitsuné almost 3 weeks ago. This French duo from Caen have been steady satisfying my ears with there seemingly endless array of top notch remixes. From when I first encountered their work on big artists such as Major Lazer, Brodinski & Noob, Crookers, Solo, French Fries to their most recent remixing of Paul Chambers, Boys Noize, Daniel Haaksman & the solid remix of BRRRAT! they have progressively been getting better and better.
The whole EP has a very warm disco-ish feel to which is amplified with the use of the glitched up vocal and well simply how the song sounds. The 5 remixes on the EP touch on everything from a remix by Don Rimini with an even greater disco feel to it, to some dubstep with High Rankin, a nice tropical sound with J-Wow from Buraka Som Sistema and a nice electro banger with Eumig & Chinon.
Grab my two favorite remixes in 128kbps and be sure to support the artists if you like what you’re hearing!

Being wasted on Sake Monday night is awesome. Less amusing to have class the next morning and try to pull a post out of your ass. Regardless, set rips from BBC Radio & BNR Super Acid is where it’s at today.

My friend is convincing me no one reads the random blurbs for songs, so sadly for tonight you just get the music while I go out and regret being at Fouf.
